Cruise Services Policy & Passenger Bill of Rights
Effective Date: March 15, 2026 • Setting the benchmark for luxury maritime advisory, onboard passenger protections, accessible travel coordination, and concierge service protocols.
01CLIA Cruise Passenger Bill of Rights
As an accredited agency adhering to Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) standards, we champion the 10 fundamental rights guaranteed to every ocean passenger:
02CruiseHelpCenter Concierge Commitments
When you reserve through CruiseHelpCenter, you receive dedicated luxury concierge benefits at no extra cost:
- Dedicated Account Concierge: Direct phone and email access to a senior cruise specialist from initial inquiry until your return home.
- Promotional Value Bundling: Securing exclusive unpublished shipboard spending credit, complimentary prepaid gratuities, and specialty dining invitations where applicable.
- Stateroom Selection Expertise: Precision deck plan analysis to avoid obstruction, engine noise, or high-traffic corridors.
03Accessible Staterooms & Mobility
Modern cruise ships feature state-of-the-art ADA accessible staterooms with widened doorways (minimum 32 inches), roll-in showers with bench seating, lowered vanity sinks, and emergency alert pull-cords.
Special Needs Pre-Registration:
Please notify our concierge desk at least 45 days prior to sailing if you require pier-to-ship wheelchair boarding, oxygen cylinder delivery coordination, or guide dog paperwork clearance.
04Medical Facilities, Pregnancy & Age Limits
Shipboard Medical Infirmaries: Ocean vessels are equipped with medical clinics staffed by certified doctors and nurses capable of handling urgent care and stabilizing cardiac or trauma cases. Please note that shipboard medical services incur carrier charges that can be claimed via travel insurance.
Pregnancy Policy: In compliance with international maritime safety rules, women who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy at any point during the cruise cannot be accommodated on ocean voyages.
Infant Age Requirements: Infants must be at least 6 months old at the time of embarkation for standard coastal/Caribbean cruises, and at least 12 months old for transatlantic, transpacific, or exotic expedition itineraries.
05Gourmet Dietary Accommodations
Cruise lines pride themselves on culinary versatility. Vegetarian, vegan, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sodium, and diabetic menus are readily accommodated in main dining rooms and specialty venues.
Strictly Kosher or Halal certified meals must be pre-ordered through our concierge at least 60 days in advance so frozen sealed meals can be properly provisioned to the vessel.
06Baggage Delivery & Prohibited Articles
Checked luggage is delivered directly to your stateroom on embarkation evening. For maritime safety, the following items are strictly prohibited aboard:
- Heating appliances (clothing irons, electric kettles, hot plates, heating pads).
- Hoverboards, electric scooters (except certified mobility scooters), and drones.
- Firearms, martial arts equipment, explosive devices, and ammunition.
- Illicit narcotics, marijuana/CBD products (regardless of local state or recreational legality).
07Safety Drills & Maritime Security
Under the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), mandatory passenger safety muster drills must be completed prior to the ship departing port. Most modern cruise lines now allow digital e-Muster via the mobile app, followed by a brief physical check-in at your assigned muster station.
